The queen room I got was complete with the bathroom, a great glass, for instance. It was a marvellous and incredible location very close to UC berkeley and the residence halls, Henry's restaurant, and food spots.

Their staff were not very helpful.

Convenient for daughter's Berkeley graduation...they even emailed ahead of time, and asked for any graduate's photos, major, and our brief comment, then made a collage in the lobby. Very nice touch!

Fantastic location close to UC Berkeley campus and Telegraph Avenue. Rooms are nice, and room service is tasty.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The dining was fair.

It just so happend that my room was located next to the hotel (staff?) bathroom. People getting in and out and it was a bit noisy and annoyance. The pillows were too soft.

Convenient Stay with Character!

We loved our time! The location near campus offered great convenience, and we enjoyed good dinners at the onsite restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating. For a pleasant stay, request a room on a higher floor to avoid noise from the festivities below.

Convenience to UC Campus

Price was steep -- $300/night -- for the quality of the room, but it was graduation weekend. Still, the premium even for graduation weekend seemed a bit high.

Henry's is a great cafe! It was just the sunny morning experience we needed after lengthy travel the night before. The porters/bell staff were wonderfully helpful and attentive. Hotel Durant was a perfect location for our visit to the uc Berkeley campus!

The bed was a little small. The handheld European shower head was lovely, but it would be nice if there were a notch higher up for when you want to bask under the spray without holding the shower head in your hand!

Great hotel with fast wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy leisure room. I still remember the staff helping me with a phone charger on my first stay. Highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend! Coming back soon!

Charming, but older victorian...therefore no central air conditioning..not a problem in winter..but even in April we had to leave window open the whole time with fans going...and this is in 60 degree weather in Berkeley Ca. I would only stay here again during winter.

Very nice hotel in the midst of the UC Berkeley student experience.

Lovely warm staff greeting us at front desk. Loved the "updated" funky 60's decor.

The size of bathroom sink. It's ridiculously small. I should have packed a tupperware bowl.

Located just 3 minutes walk from the campus. The room was well-equipped with luxurious furniture. The staffs were really helpful.

The Graduate Berkeley rolls out the red carpet for foodies! Enjoying some epic eats at nearby Top Dog Berkeley Southside for their famous hot dogs, and the jams at Gypsy's Trattoria Italiano made my taste buds dance! The bar was chill and perfect for unwinding after a day of culinary exploration.

Parking was a bit of a mess, and we could hear everything in the adjoining room.
